Volvo EWR130E wheeled excavator is an extension of the product line. The medium excavator has an operating weight of 28,440 pounds and can provide 120 horsepower at 2,000 rpm. The maximum digging depth is 16 feet 9 inches, which can reach approximately 28 feet.

The rear swing is 5 feet 1 inch and the front swing is 5 feet 11 inches. Optional four-wheel steering and in-line outriggers provide additional control and stability.

The standard two-piece boom can lift up to 9,480 pounds in a range of 19.7 feet. The breakthrough force is 24,392 lb.-ft.

Volvo wheeled excavators can travel at up to 22 mph, and the boom suspension system engages at speeds above 3 mph to absorb shocks and reduce bounce when transporting materials on rough terrain. It can tow trailers weighing up to 6,600 pounds.

Optional technologies include Volvo's excavation auxiliary machine control system, which provides on-site design, 3D excavation software and on-board weighing applications.
